Terms of Service & Platform Guidelines

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By accessing, downloading, or using the DoctorPlus application, website, or associated digital services operated by DoctorPlus Technologies Private Limited ("DoctorPlus"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

Users must be at least 18 years of age to register as a primary cardholder. Primary users may register and link dependent family members (spouses, minor children, and senior parents) under their verified account, representing that they possess legal authority or parental guardianship to act on behalf of those dependents.

2. Digital Health Card Terms & Privileges

Upon successful registration and mobile OTP verification, DoctorPlus issues a proprietary Digital Health Card featuring an auto-generated unique Member ID (DP-2026-XXXX) and a 5-year validity period:

• Cashless OPD Privileges: The Digital Health Card entitles primary users and registered family members to cashless OPD benefits, annual checkup vouchers, and queue prioritization across 850+ accredited partner facilities.
• In-App Export: Cardholders may download their verifiable Health Card as a PDF or Image (PNG/JPG) for emergency presentation or offline documentation.
• Non-Transferability: Health Cards and linked family benefits are strictly personal to registered members. Tampering with card credentials, falsifying blood groups, or sharing Member IDs with unlinked third parties constitutes fraudulent usage and results in immediate card revocation.

3. 4-Step In-App Doctor Appointments & Rescheduling

DoctorPlus facilitates seamless appointment scheduling through an automated 4-step workflow (Speciality selection → Family member assignment → Live slot selection → Token confirmation & Calendar sync):

• Slot Verification: Available morning, afternoon, and evening slots are synchronized directly with partner hospital operational desks. Confirmation tokens are issued electronically within the app.
• Rescheduling & Cancellations: Patients may reschedule appointment slots up to 2 hours prior to the scheduled consultation time directly in the app without penalty.
• Hospital Delays: While DoctorPlus provides real-time reminders, clinical consultation durations may vary based on medical emergencies at the hospital. DoctorPlus is not liable for clinical delays caused by in-hospital emergency triage.

4. 850+ Cashless Hospital Network & Emergency Response

DoctorPlus operates an extensive directory of 850+ accredited partner hospitals with verified Latitude and Longitude GPS coordinates:

• Independent Healthcare Facilities: All partner hospitals, nursing homes, and diagnostic labs operate as independent clinical entities. DoctorPlus acts as a digital discovery, cashless administration, and workflow coordinator. Medical treatments, diagnoses, and clinical procedures are delivered solely under the clinical responsibility of the respective hospital.
• 24*7 Emergency Trauma Units: Hospital facilities with active "24*7 Emergency" badges maintain continuous trauma and ICU admission capabilities. For acute critical emergencies, call our dedicated toll-free helpline at 1800-419-PLUS or dial national emergency services (108 / 112) immediately.

5. Clinical Specialists & Head of Department (HOD) Governance

DoctorPlus enforces strict clinical governance within its partner directory. Each clinical department (Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, etc.) is supervised by a designated Head of Department (HOD):

• One HOD per Speciality: Partner hospitals adhere to the platform rule where only one senior clinician per speciality is appointed as HOD at any given time.
• Physician Credentials: Doctor profiles display verified medical qualifications, years of experience, and clinical specialities verified against national medical councils.

6. Doctor Health Tips, Vlogs & Stories Disclaimer

Health tips, medical vlogs, and wellness articles published on DoctorPlus (including Top Stories in DialFirst news format) are intended solely for general health literacy and informational purposes. They do not constitute personalized medical diagnosis, prescription, or clinical treatment plans. Always consult a qualified physician regarding any medical symptoms.

7. Intellectual Property & Brand Ownership

The brand name DoctorPlus, the DoctorPlus cross emblem logo, user interface designs, digital card formats, software code, and promotional media are exclusive registered intellectual property of DoctorPlus Technologies Private Limited. Unauthorized copying, decompilation, scraping, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited under Indian copyright and trademark law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DoctorPlus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of the performance or non-performance of medical treatments by independent partner hospitals or doctors. Our aggregate liability for platform-related technical discrepancies shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by the user in the preceding twelve months.
